Jeb Bush takes advice from DJ Khaled

Jeb Bush got some unsolicited advice Wednesday night from rapper DJ Khaled, some of which he decided to take.

Khaled, who has gained notoriety for his inspirational Snapchat videos, turned his attention to the former Florida governor on a “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” segment.

“You know I rock with Obama. Obama salute,” Khaled said, revealing his political leanings. “But Jeb Bush, seems like you need some advice. I’m gonna give you the keys to success, and motivate you. Jeb Bush, I appreciate you. You a leader. You a Bush. Another one.”

Things got weird pretty quickly.

“S— got real for you Jeb Bush,” Khaled continued. “They don’t want you to win. They don’t want you to have breakfast. A healthy breakfast, a full green apple. That’s the key. Apple.”

The rest of the video involves Khaled telling Bush not to let anyone else water his plants, to not play basketball because “it’s not your sport” and to always use “cocoa butter. Major key.”

Bush responded to Khaled on Twitter by letting him know he “had my green apples for breakfast.”
