Tech trouble

He doesn’t write emails, so you’d think that John McCain’s technology advisers would at least let the public know he has tech savvy people around him. So why, then, did Douglas Holtz-Eakin, economic adviser to McCain, back out of the “Tech Smackdown” at the New American Foundation at the very last minute Thursday morning? Reed Hundt, a former FCC chairman who attended on behalf of Barack Obama, had an idea, “Doug has better things to do than answer questions about the Blackberry,” referring to Holtz-Eakin’s claim McCain “helped create” the device.
