Living in the Washington area, everything gets broken down by party lines. Because it’s Valentine Day , the question was asked: Who is more romantic — Republicans or Democrats? Fox News conducted a poll on their Web site and discovered Dems are more fond of the holiday. In fact, 71 percent of Democrats say they enjoy Valentine’s Day, compared to 61 percent of Independents and only 59 percent of Republicans. More importantly, when asked whether or not your partner’s (or potential partner’s) political views should be aligned with your own, 65 percent of responders said it did not matter.
