Two of D.C’s “Top Chef” contingent, Mike Isabella and Carla Hall, are teaming up with some of their fellow former contestants to help protect seals. The twelve chefs, in tandem with The Humane Society of America, will boycott using any Canadian seafood in an effort to try to save the seals. “Until the Canadian provinces end seal-hunting, I cannot in good conscience source my seafood from that region,” Isabella said on the campaign’s website. A few of those joining Isabella and Hall include “Top Chef: All Stars” winner Richard Blais, Fabio Vivani, and Angelo Sosa.
