Trump would have gone down fighting if protesters stormed

GOP front-runner Donald Trump says his campaign would have gone down fighting if protesters decided to storm his rally in Chicago Friday night.

“We have strength,” he told “Fox and Friends” Saturday morning. “I remember when Bernie Sanders got taken over by two women. I thought that was a great embarrassment.”

“That’s never going to happen,” Trump said. “We go down fighting.”

Trump was responding to a question by one of the program hosts that there were reports that anti-Trump protesters were planning on rushing the stage once Mr. Trump began speaking. Trump said that doesn’t surprise him.

“This is a radical group of people, a bad group of people, for the most part,” he said of those organizing against the rally last night. He said the group MoveOn.org and others were to blame.

“What they are really doing is shutting down the First Amendment,” Trump said. But people would have gotten hurt “so I shut it down.”

“Our rallies are massive and very, very friendly. There is tremendous love in the room.”
