Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may not be ready to jump into the presidential race this year, but he wouldn’t rule out a run one day.
The wrestler-turned-actor tweeted out an Independent Journal article called “The People Are Loudly Clamoring for One Republican Actor to Save America This Election Cycle,” which features nine social media images that show why Johnson should run for president.
Cool piece on why I should run for President. Maybe one day. Surely the White House has a spot for my pick up truck..https://t.co/JpkZ4w1eh3

Some of the reasons given for why Johnson is the savior the Republican Party needs include his “cross-party appeal,” the fact that he “respects, and is respected by, both the military and law enforcement,” his ability to “successfully manage a hectic and busy schedule for years” and his “heart of gold.”
“Maybe one day,” he said in the tweet of his White House aspirations. “Surely the White House has a spot for my pickup truck.”
Johnson in the past has discussed a potential future in politics. He told Moviefone in 2012 that “one day, and that day will come, I can impact the world through politics.
“The great news is that I am American, therefore I can become president.”
He already has experience in political satire, having been on “Saturday Night Live” multiple times to play “The Rock Obama,” President Obama’s angry doppelganger who surfaces when pushed too far by Congress.
