Donald Trump made an appearance at a Nevada caucus site and encouraged Republicans to support his presidential bid.
“We are going to have hopefully a historic night,” Trump said on video caught by MSNBC. “In New Hampshire it was amazing, as you know. In South Carolina last week, unbelievable. And hopefully this will be the same.”
Trump continued to thank the crowd, promised to rebuild the military and told people if they needed anything to come see him. He repeatedly shouted “Make America Great Again” before doing an interview with MSNBC slamming Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
“Ted is going to start telling the truth, he lifts his hands up high, but he’s going to have to start telling the truth,” Trump said to MSNBC. “People have gotten wise to him.”
While the Democrats caucused in Nevada on Saturday, Republicans are doing so on Tuesday night. Chaos has reportedly ensued with several complaints emerging about how the GOP has run the Silver State’s caucus.
