The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria on Friday released another video claiming to show the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning.
The video, slightly more than a minute long, appears to show the same British-accented man as the previous three standing over Henning with a knife and denouncing British Prime Minister David Cameron before slicing his neck.
The end of the video shows a man identified as Peter Edward Kassig, a former U.S. Army medic from Indiana who had been working in Syria. Like the others, he was wearing an orange jumpsuit.
The masked terrorist threatened that Kassig would be next if President Obama did not end the U.S.-led bombing campaign against the Islamist extremist group. “It’s only right that we continue to strike the necks of your people,” he said.
Henning was last seen at the end of a video released Sept. 13 showing what appeared to be the beheading of another British hostage, aid worker David Haines.
The Islamic State has also killed two U.S. journalists, James Foley and Steven Sotloff.
FBI Director James Comey said Sept. 25 that his agency believes it has identified the masked militant in the videos, but gave no further details.
