New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie flew into town this weekend for the National Governor’s Association winter meeting, where he enjoyed three days of culinary delights. Spotted at Fiola on Saturday night, Christie took in a meal of meatballs, cavatelli pasta and bomboloni, a ricotta-filled donut. On Sunday, he joined his gubernatorial colleagues at the White House for a feast of salad, rib eye steak, creamed spinach, Maryland crab macaroni and cheese, and a pear tart with ice cream. On Monday afternoon, during remarks by President Obama at the White House, the New Jersey governor was spotted munching on an apple.
