Texas’ Castro twins reunited Tuesday night at the National Building Museum for the National Council of La Raza’s Capital Awards.
Freshman Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, and his brother, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro — who made a splash at last year’s Democratic National Convention — were easy to tell apart thanks to Joaquin’s congressional pin. Other guests included Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif., Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who was honored for leadership on Hispanic issues.
