Before wowing crowds at CPAC Saturday, we’re told that former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin ducked her head into see stylist Sang Alavi at Sang in Woodley Park, part of the La Bella Vita Salon at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

The hairdresser spruced up the former Alaska governor’s tresses and the two gabbed for awhile, with Alavi even inviting Palin to try her food truck, Sang on Wheels, which serves Lao and Asian fusion cuisine, the next time the pol was in town. Palin chatted about how her daughter, Willow, wants to be a hairdresser, and how she wanted to look good for the cameras at CPAC. “I told her that she looked really sexy,” Alavi laughed.

Then on Monday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton chose Cleveland Park’s Ardeo+Bardeo for dinner. The former first lady was spotted having dinner with a friend around 7:15 p.m. In classic Clinton fashion, she was sporting a dark pantsuit.
