J.K. Rowling calls Trump spokeswoman a ‘Death Eater’

Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling fired an Expelliaramus spell at Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson over her tweet implying President Obama and Mitt Romney were not “pure breeds.”

“Death Eaters walk among us,” Rowling tweeted, along with a link to Pierson’s 2012 tweet.

In the wizarding world of “Harry Potter,” magical parenting is used as a metaphor for racial and ethnic cleansing. Lord Voldemort, the villain of the saga, attempted to destroy all the “mud bloods” (wizards not born to two magical parents) and create a world of only pure-blooded wizards.

Death eaters were Voldemort’s henchman who sucked the soul out of anyone unfortunate to come across them.

Pierson has been under fire ever since a three-year-old tweet of hers was dug up and started making the media rounds. “Perfect Obama’s dad born in Africa, Mitt Romney’s dad born in Mexico. Any pure breeds left? #CNNDebate,” she wrote.

She recently tried to defend herself on CNN by claiming she was just using the same rhetoric that has been used against her.

“Look, these tweets — I’m an activist, and I am a half-breed, I’m always getting called a half-breed,” Pierson said Sunday during an appearance on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” “On Twitter, when you’re fighting with Twitter and even establishment, you go back at them in the same silliness they’re giving you. So I myself am a half-breed.”

This is not the first time Rowling has criticized the Trump campaign. In December, she tweeted that Voldemort was “nowhere near as bad” as the billionaire mogul.
