That was John Ratzenberger, “Cliff Clavin” from Cheers, checking into the Liaison Hotel on Capitol Hill Monday night. Management was nice enough to send him up a bottle of wine.
Meanwhile, “America’s Most Wanted” host John Walsh was spotted at Rasika in Penn Quarter Monday night, dining with his son. Walsh is one of the people behind the Museum of Crime and Punishment up the street from the restaurant.
And Mayor Fenty and his wife Michelle checked out the new Bibiana Osteria at 11th and H streets on Saturday night. The couple said their hellos around the dining room before settling into a romantic dinner.
