Hillary and President Bill Clinton are now grandparents.
Chelsea Clinton tweeted Saturday that she and her husband Marc Mezvinsky were “full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky.”
Clinton and Mezvinsky live in New York City.
Hillary told a crowd of Iowans earlier in September that she and Bill were on “constant grandchild watch.”
The former Secretary of State and senator from New York has described the idea of becoming a grandmother her “most exciting title yet,” according to the Associated Press.
Even President Obama got into the act, joking earlier this week that Chelsea was free to borrow his motorcade if she went into labor during his speech to the Clinton Global Initiative.
