“Sex and the City” star Kim Cattrall may steal the stage in the Kennedy Center’s production of “Follies” at the Eisenhower Theater in May 2011. The Kennedy Center announced Tuesday that Bernadette Peters has been cast to play Sally (one of the leading roles) in Stephen Sondheim’s show, while BroadwayWorld.com reported Cattrall, “although maybe not fully signed on the dotted line,” likely will be cast as the lead co-star in the role of Phyllis.
Yeas & Nays called the Kennedy Center and Cattrall’s publicist, but neither would confirm. Tickets start at $45 and will go on sale in January.
