Anya Taylor-Joy shines in crime series ‘Lucky’

Apple TV’s Lucky begins with a betrayal and ends with a gift. In between are seven episodes of blithely derivative action fun, as unoriginal as they are expertly made. The show borrows from the Bourne movies (2002–2016), Catch Me If You Can (2002), Run Lola Run (1998), and even The Sopranos (1999–2007). The result is material that feels not fresh but well-loved, like a thrift-store find one can’t wait to take home.
