The blue party is coming apart. Objective observers, Republican partisans, and many Democrats themselves have long known that an explosion would come, for the leftist alliance binds mutually hostile ideologies together. They are as fissile as political materials can be.
Part of the alliance are the traditional class warriors determined to eat the rich. Their motivations are fiscal, and their policy is to spend as much of other people’s money as possible on themselves and their allies.

A second, highly heterogeneous, element is made up of the children of the Great Awokening, the LGBTQ+ and racial huckster crowd. Their motives extend all the way from racial spoils and reparations, through the pretense that men can be women and get pregnant and that women can have penises, and on from there into the dark shadows of legalized pedophilia.
Finally and most potently, the axis is completed by those whose foreign policy is jihad and whose domestic policy is Sharia. They are driven by an ignorant, visceral, messianic, and self-righteous hatred of Jews, and their methods are apologetics or violence.
These three (or more) disparate elements are yoked together by the sub-Marxist theory of intersectionality, a hierarchy of oppressors and oppressed, which pits them against the West. Because it is sensible, orderly, strong, successful, and decent, it is the shared enemy and a permanent rebuke to the disorderly, the weak, the failures, and the depraved.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend, but there is no natural affinity between these allies. That’s why there is so much rich, if black, comic material to be obtained by interviewing or discussing such movements as “Queers for Palestine.”
None of the jihadis’ beliefs are shared with woke, except that their common enemy is the rest of us, who love this country and would like to keep it the way it is, or, indeed, return it somewhat closer to the way it was.
But, as I say, the leftist alliance is showing signs of coming apart. In Washington state, Melissa Chaudhry, who is challenging incumbent Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) for the Democratic nomination to the House of Representatives in the state’s 9th Congressional District, has come under fire for hiding her support of the LGBTQ cause “because a lot of Muslims do not feel that way.” She needs jihadi/Sharia voters and knows they abhor the rainbow people.
The marriage of convenience between the red of the Marxists and the green of the jihadis is one of unavoidable infidelity and betrayal. It’s always been doubtful how long it could last, and the assumption is that divorce would come quickly after the marriage was consummated by election to power. But perhaps it cannot last that long. Certainly, it won’t if the scales fall from voters’ eyes and they finally see clearly what is going on around them.

Chaudhry’s concealment also marks a further big step in the march of political deceit and appeasement. This radical Democrat is showing that the party will abandon its longstanding agenda to palliate the sensitivities of alien Islam.
If a conservative refuses to support LGBT+ causes, it’s bigotry, don’t you know? But if a Democrat does it, it’s sensitivity and adjustment for the long-term good. Never mind that it is spineless accommodation to win over an alien and hostile culture.
