Jeah! Ryan Lochte to star in his own reality TV show

We all thought we would have to wait four more years for the chance to be grossed out by Ryan Lochte’s grill and listen to him use his catch phrase ‘Jeah!’ on TV until our ears bleed.  But thanks to E! our wait will be cut short. The Olympic swimmer has officially landed a reality TV show called “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?”, because apparently everyone wants to emulate his eloquence.

E! says the reality TV show will “take viewers inside the unpredictable and offbeat life” of the Olympian.

Apparently this offbeat lifestyle includes having Hooter’s waitresses spoon-feeding wings into Lochte’s mouth, according to TMZ.

“Ryan Lochte captured everyone’s attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life,” E! Entertainment President Suzanne Kolb said in a statement. “He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: They want to be him, sleep with him or mother him.”

Wonder which category Kolb falls in.

The show will follow Lochte as he takes the Gainesville, Florida night life by storm and trains for the 2016 Olympics. The swimmer’s family will also appear in the series, including his mother who famously said Lochte has one-night stands because he’s so busy. Viewers will also be privy to Lochte’s shoe collection that holds 150 pairs of sneakers. Lucky us.

Maybe we will also finally learn how Lochte concocted his own catch phrase ‘Jeah’, where he cleverly replaces the ‘y’ with a ‘j’ when pronouncing the word ‘yeah’.

This is not the first time Lochte has hit the small screen. He also made appearances on The CW’s ‘90210” and NBC’s “30 Rock.” And of course, let’s not forget his stellar performance in the USA Olympic swimming team’s rendition of “Call Me Maybe” when he blows a kiss at the screen.

Or even when the swimmer inspired his own “Call Me Maybe” parody, “Call Me Lochte.”

If you’ve forgotten Lochte’s excellent oratory skills in the post-Olympics haze, watch this montage of Lochte’s best quotes. Even Mckayla Maroney would be impressed.
