Former Disney Channel star Hilary Duff has recently purchased a glock case and ammo. In their reporting last week, TMZ said Duff has “gone a full 180 from her Disney days because she’s now officially a pistol packing mama.”
Arming one’s self doesn’t have to be counter-culture to Disney or at all. This is especially the case since TMZ confirmed Duff got her handgun safety permit.
Counter Cultured applauded Duff in their report of the purchase, calling it a move of “empowerment.” The story also mentioned she is originally from Texas and, reportedly, is a Republican.
Duff is a recently divorced mother of a three year old. “Take that, Moms Demand Action,” offered Counter Cultured.
She has already so far shown herself to be one of the many responsible and common sense gun owners out there, which does include plenty of young women. Her days on the Disney Channel may be done, but the actress is still a young woman worth looking up to.
