This might just be her most economically fruitful journey yet.
Hillary Clinton raised a whopping $3 million in one day of fundraisers for her presidential campaign in the Los Angeles, California, area Thursday, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The Democratic presidential candidate was the woman of the hour at three separate fundraisers, individual tickets for each of which cost $2,700.
The first, a women’s breakfast reception at the Westwood home of activist Catherine Unger, raised $270,000. The second, a luncheon at the home of television producer Steven Bochco in the Pacific Palisades, raised $810,000.
And the grand finale, a Beverly Hills dinner at the residence of entertainment business mogul Haim Saban, raked in $1.9 million for the Clinton campaign with a guest list of 700 people.
Unsurprisingly — this is Hollywood, of course — the events were all star-studded. Guests at the luncheon included producer Norman Lear, actor Mike Manning, producer Chuck Lorre, producer Howard Gordon, and Sen. Barbara Boxer, among others.
At the dinner event, Clinton had the opportunity to mingle with Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer, producer Mike Medavoy, former L.A Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, former Gov. Gray Davis, Larry King, Stevie Wonder, actor Bradley Whitford, and actress Mary Steenburgen.
Hillary has already emerged as the Hollywood favorite ahead of the 2016 election, with celebrities like Ja Rule, Waka Flocka Flame, Olivia Wilde and Michael Kelly endorsing the Democratic candidate for the White House.
