The temperature is rising on the Trump campaign and there’s rumors that it’s about to get a whole lot worse.
On Sunday, Emmy Award-winning producer Chris Nee tweeted that producers on The Apprentice are sitting on footage where former host Donald Trump said the n-word on film.
I don’t have the tapes. I’ve signed a Burnett contract & know leak fee is 5 mill. Hearing from producers/crew N word is the “much worse”.

This tweet came as a response to former Apprentice producer Bill Pruitt tweeting this:
As a producer on seasons 1 & 2 of #theapprentice I assure you: when it comes to the #trumptapes there are far worse. #justthebegininng

Nee tweeted the allegations to Mark Cuban, a Hillary Clinton backer and rival billionaire to Trump, and noted that there is a $5 million penalty for leaking footage according to a contract Nee signed under Apprentice executive producer Mark Burnett.
Burnett, a Trump supporter, has threatened staffers who could potentially release damaging footage and outtakes from the show, as reported by BuzzFeed.
If footage of Trump saying the n-word exists and it gets into the public, it may very well be the nail in the coffin for the Trump campaign as it would confirm the narrative that he’s a racist. At least with the Access Hollywood tape, Trump and his surrogates could at least spin it and claim Hillary & Bill Clinton have done a lot worse.
In the final month before election day, where many states have early voting, it would be increasingly difficult for the Trump campaign to come back from this.
