Early on in the CNN Republican debate Donald Trump was given the opportunity to respond to comments Carly Fiorina made about Trump having “his finger on the nuclear codes.”

Before he responded though, Trump made the decision to criticize Rand Paul’s appearance on the stage. He pointed out that he only had 1 percent in the polls.

When Paul had his chance to respond, he mentioned “I kind of have to laugh… sounds like a non-sequitur.” He also mentioned that it speaks a lot about him, and about if he should have his finger on the codes. “I am worried, I’m very concerned.”

Paul also made reference to Trump making fun of people, based on appearance, and that it’s something out of “junior high.”
