Impeachment: Democrats say it’s in the cards; Republicans insist that it’s off the table. In his monologue Wednesday night, Jimmy Fallon suggested that maybe Obama was the one behind it because he just wanted some vacation time.
After opening with a few jokes about celebrity drama, Fallon filled in his audience on House Majority Leader John Boehner’s statement that Republicans were not looking to move towards impeaching Obama.
“Which got weird when Obama was like, ‘damn, almost got out of this thing,'” joked Fallon.
He also wished Congress a happy recess and mused about Chris Christie’s golfing handicap.
