Ninety-nine bottles of beer in your fridge, 99 bottles of beer.
Yes, that’s right. The company Austin Beerworks is celebrating the release of their Peacemaker Anytime Ale by selling 99-packs of beer in select stores in Austin, Texas.
“LET’S BE CLEAR: IT’S REAL,” reads the Austin Beerworks website. “Like, really real. Right now, as you read this, ice-cold 99-packs are waiting for you in select stores across Austin. To score one of these rare boxes of beauty, follow Austin Beerworks on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for details.”
The company has also released a video to promote its colossal pack of Anytime Ale.
“Since you can drink it anytime, you’re going to want to have a few on hand, so we decided to create our first multipack,” explain the voiceovers in the video. “We thought about a 12-pack, but that wasn’t enough. We looked at cases, suitcases, a 29-pack, and the ill-advised 41-pack. Bad idea.”
The makers describe the 99-pack as “the perfect size.” The mammoth case of booze cost, appropriately, $99.
According to Austin Beerworks Facebook page, the packs will go on sale in select stores starting Thursday.
“There’s only about 20 to go around this weekend, but we’ll be making more because apparently y’all like to party,” reads a post from Monday.
Now, if only these big beverage boxes were made available countrywide.
