Chris Wallace (epically) live fact-checks Donald Trump [VIDEO]

Finally, someone called out Donald Trump and forced him to acknowledge his exaggerations and misleading numbers.

While Trump is often fact-checked, those fact checks go ignored. Fox News’ Chris Wallace did a live fact check of Trump’s claims on the budget.

After Trump said he could cut his way out of creating $10 trillion more in debt with his budget plan, Wallace asked Trump how. Trump responded by saying he’d cut the Department of Education, the EPA, and the IRS.

Wallace responded:

“The Education Department you talk about cutting, the whole budget for the Education Department is only $78 billion… The entire budget for the EPA, the Environment Protection Agency, is $8 billion. The deficit this year is $544 billion. Your numbers don’t add up.”

Next, Trump claimed Medicare could save $300 billion by bidding on drugs.

Wallace responded:

“You say that Medicare could save $300 billion a year in negotiating lower drug prices, but Medicare — total — only spends $78 million a year on drugs. Sir, that’s the facts.”
