O’Reilly explains why Stewart was wrong about his ‘privileged’ upbringing

Bill O’Reilly’s ongoing feud with Jon Stewart over white privilege was featured on O’Reilly Wednesday night show, where he took some time to debunk Stewart’s comments about his formerly segregated home time.

O’Reilly visited the Daily Show last week, where Stewart pestered O’Reilly to admit that white privilege exists. O’Reilly contended that certain privileges exist for every race: “If there’s white privilege then there has to be Asian privilege, because Asians make more money than whites.”

Stewart argued that O’Reilly’s own success is a product of “white privilege,” since O’Reilly’s hometown of Levittown was segregated at the time he grew up there.

“The mistake he makes is that there was some kind of privilege associated with living in Levittown,” O’Reilly objected. “He’s making it out to be Bel-Air.”

“We have to give Stewart props for history, right. But white privilege extending out, wrong.”
