Michelle and Hillary battle over who’s the best on ‘SNL’

First Lady Michelle Obama and former First Lady Hillary Clinton wanted to give a special Mother’s Day message to the nation — but instead got wrapped up in a battle over who’s better. Typical.

In the cold open on this week’s Saturday Night Live, the powerful women sat down together to celebrate mothers, like themselves. It quickly became clear that each woman had an agenda, however.

Obama, played by Sasheer Zamata, pointed out that she and her family would be going for a Mother’s Day run and eating healthy cookies. Clinton, played by Vanessa Bayer, joked about running for ‘Mother of the Year’ and stressed to viewers that she was going to be a “young, impactful grandma.”

But things turned ugly when the conversation turned to Obamacare.

“But I care less about the gifts that I receive,” Obama said. “What Barack and I are really proud of is giving the gift of healthcare to 8 million Americans.”

“Which is funny, because I tried to give them that gift 16 years ago,” Clinton pointed out. “So it’s more like a regift.”

“But, we actually delivered it,” Obama countered.

And things only got worse from there.
