Abortion has divided the nation for decades but the recent debate over funding Planned Parenthood has had some liberal celebrities rally to the abortion mill’s support.
Here are a list of 15 celebrities who stand with Planned Parenthood and 15 entertainers have claimed to be pro-life.
Pro-Planned Parenthood: Kristen Bell
The star of Frozen has said via Twitter that sexuality is “natural and inevitable” so it should also be “safe and healthy.” Natural, inevitable, safe, and healthy aren’t words most people would use to describe an abortion.

Pro-Life: Martin Sheen
The Golden Globe award winner is an outspoken Catholic and liberal Democrat who’s position on abortion might be affected by the fact that his wife was conceived after her mother was raped.
Pro-Planned Parenthood: Mindy Kaling
The star of The Mindy Project also took part in Dunham’s campaign.
Pro-Life: Matt Birk
The Super Bowl champion is a devout Catholic and the father of six children who’s taken part in the March for Life.
Pro-Planned Parenthood: Amy Schumer
She’s taken up a number of liberal causes like gun control but access to abortion is one of her favorites, Schumer also took part in Dunham’s campaign.
Pro-Life: Kenny Chesney
The country music superstar is an avid pro-lifer, even writing the song There Goes My Life about how parenthood could be one of the best things to happen to someone, even under less than desirable circumstances.
Pro-Planned Parenthood: Scarlett Johansson
Johansson made a viral video in support of Planned Parenthood stating that she stands for the abortion mill that kills hundreds of thousands of children a year, because “they stand up for her.”
Pro-Life: Andrea Bocelli
The Italian singer told fans in 2011 that his mother was pressured to have an abortion when she was pregnant with him.

The Academy Award winner is an outspoken liberal who supports Planned Parenthood.

It shouldn’t come as any surprise that the Texas Ranger, who’s one of the most conservative celebrities in Hollywood, is avid pro-lifer.

The hip-hop star joined Moore to make a video on behalf of Planned Parenthood that received plenty of negative comments on YouTube.

The star of The Middle and Everyone Loves Raymond is a devout Catholic who even spoke up in defense of the life of Terri Schiavo.

Union was a huge star in the 90’s but recently hasn’t seen her much work outside cable TV. She took part in Lena Dunham’s efforts to rally support for the abortion mill.

Hate him or love him, Bieber doesn’t care. The singer has been making a comeback but throughout his career has spoken about how he’s pro-life saying in 2011, “I really don’t believe in abortion. I think [an embryo] is a human. It’s like killing a baby.”
