Charlie Rose to be on ‘Breaking Bad’

Charlie Rose, veteran newsman, seems to be a little loose lipped. Over the weekend the PBS and CBS talker accidentally spilled the beans that he has a cameo on “Breaking Bad,” during the show’s last season. Rose, according to the Los Angeles Times, will appear on the show’s penultimate episode, but didn’t reveal whether he would be playing himself.

Rose was interviewing “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan when he let the tidbit slip. “Speaking of that, who in the world gave you the idea to include me in the next-to-last episode,” Rose asked the creator. Gilligan scolded Rose for the spoiler. “I didn’t describe anything. How does that spoil anything?” Rose responded. “The check will still be in the mail,” Rose added, to which Gilligan agreed.

Rose has been tapped by Hollywood before, previously appearing in “The Ides of March,” “Primary Colors,” and the “Door in the Floor,” according to New York Magazine.
