Endorsements haven’t mattered much this election season, but they’ve never come from a cartoon until now.
The Simpsons released a clip on Saturday showing Marge and Homer Simpson trying to make up their minds about voting for president. The cartoon couple tries to make up their mind by watching ads of how Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump would respond to a 3 am phone call.

Bill answers the phone from the situation room, thinking that it’s a call from one of his mistresses — only to be disappointed when he realizes it’s for his wife.
Trump ignores the call because he’s tweeting about how he exiled Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). When he finally takes the call, he has his hairdressers and makeup artists get him camera ready which takes 12 hours.
That only convinces Marge to support Clinton, but Homer still says he plans on voting for Trump. At that point, the cartoon wife denies her husband sex until he switches his position.
“And that’s how I became a Democrat,” Homer says looking into the camera.
The only cartoon endorsement worth caring about is Eric Cartman’s.
