Rock ‘n’ rollers and Star Wars fanatics unite. Students at Arizona’s University of Advancing Technology have brought Freddie Mercury and the Jedi together in one awesome parody, according to Mashable.
The students, who are in the digital video program, wrote a Star Wars-themed parody of the rock group Queen’s classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” and produced a video to go along with it.
The video is introduced by the words, “A long time ago in a karaoke bar far, far away…” after which the students harmonize to replicate Queen’s recognizable sound. They’re dressed in Star Wars garb, of course. Darth Vader and Yoda make notable appearances, among others. Published on December 4, the parody already has over 425,000 views on YouTube.
