Happy birthday, White House website!

According to the @OurPresidents Twitter account, the original White House website went live 20 years ago October 21.

It looks like the old website had a guest book and welcome messages from the president and the vice president.

Other areas of the site included pages about tours, the first family, the executive branch and publications. There’s even a comments section.

In contrast, today’s WhiteHouse.gov has Ebola:

 

Well, at least it appears functional and relatively immune to security breaches, unlike Obamacare’s HealthCare.gov.
