Ever wondered what really goes on in the House of Representatives? House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, where she revealed some humorous ‘insider knowledge’ — including House steroid testing.
The California congresswoman was on set to read David Letterman’s fake “Top 10 Things You Never Knew About the House of Representatives” list. Pelosi provided some interesting tidbits of information during the countdown.
“Every month, we’re tested for steroids,” Pelosi revealed.
“Tax dollars,” Letterman laughed.
Pelosi also told the audience that Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is now known as ‘Miracle Whip,’ thanks to corporate sponsorship.
And the number one item on the countdown had to do with the Tea Party, of course. The list was likely written by Late Show staffers, but Pelosi seemed to especially enjoy her parting shot toward the other side of the aisle.
