[WATCH] Hillary Clinton heckled over Benghazi during college speech

The President and some members of Congress sure have forgotten about the night of Sept. 11 in Benghazi, Libya. But Americans sure haven’t, as one man interrupted a speech by Hillary Clinton to let her know.

Clinton took time away from politics, particularly the Virginia governor’s race, to speak to students at the University of Buffalo on Wednesday night as part of the school’s Distinguished Speaker Series. Though the former Secretary of State was met with applause, some in the audience were far from pleased with Clinton’s actions  — or lack thereof — on the night of Sept. 11, 2012.

“Benghazi, Benghazi, you let them die,” a man can be heard screaming.

Though the initial controversy surrounding the events at the U.S. consulate in Libya has died down, many still believe the potential 2016 hopeful was to blame for the deaths of four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.

But Clinton didn’t seem fazed by the heckler, first ignoring him and then offering a response.

“Because we can’t move from crisis to crisis, we have to be willing to come together as citizens to focus on the kind of future we want, which doesn’t include yelling,” she said. “It includes sitting down and talking with one another.”

The heckler was escorted out to a standing ovation from the audience.
