Remarkably up-close footage of North Dakota tornado is a must-see

In a video of Monday’s destructive tornado in North Dakota, Abram Schiff can be heard telling his co-worker Dan Yorgason that he just received a phone alert about an incoming tornado.

That’s crucial info, except that the tornado had already been brewing for a while. It was already right next to the two.

“Dude where do we go? We have nowhere to go,” one of the men can be heard saying, as they stood outdoors in the trailer park their company provides to employees.

Without a place to seek cover, the two hopped into a pickup truck — but they indeed had nowhere to go because of the twister’s path.

While in the truck, they captured footage of the destructive storm, unprecedentedly up-close. The tornado would bypass the two men, but it tore through the trailer park adjacent to their own, reportedly leaving nine injured.

While both men remain pretty loose despite the ravaging funnel cloud, don’t be fooled by their demeanor.

“I was laughing a lot, but it was not because I thought it was funny. I was panicking,” Yorgason told the New York Daily News.
