President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama attended the pre-Olympics tune-up between the United States men’s team and Brazil in Washington, D.C., but they fell afoul of the hometown crowd early by defying the Kiss Cam.
When the Kiss Cam spotlighted the president and his wife in the second quarter, “both smiled, [but] didn’t kiss,” prompting “boos from the crowd,” the pool reporter noted.
The Obamas got it right the second time around, when the Kiss Cam focused on them again. “[Obama] leaned in and kissed his wife. Cheers from crowd, cries of ‘four more years’ heard,” the pooler said.
