At a campaign stop in New Hampshire, faux-supporters pulled a fast one Scott Walker. When they went to pose for a picture with the GOP presidential candidate, they flipped a pro-Walker sign around right before the picture was snapped to reveal what looked like a fake check from the Koch brothers.
Walker was in the early primary state for meet-and-greet at a local pizza shop. While mingling with prospective voters, Tyler McFarland approached him with a “Walker 4 President” sign, according to the Guardian.
Posing for a picture with Walker, who said “I love the sign,” McFarland flipped his sign around at the last minute to display what he later called a “novelty” check from Republican donors the Koch brothers made out to Walker in the payment of $900,000.000 for his [Walker’s] “Presidency.”
The Koch brothers’ network of supporters has pledged to spend nearly that amount on the 2016 election.
“I’d like to present you with this check from the Koch brothers for climate denial,” McFarland told Walker while still standing next to the, most likely confused, Wisconsin governor.

Walker remained composed and brushed the incident off, telling McFarland he was going to go talk to other voters now.
McFarland, 23, is an organizer for climate change group 350 Action, and pulled the stunt because he believes “Scott Walker is the most dangerous candidate on climate change.”
“As Obama reveals his clean power plant today, we just wanted to highlight the fact that Scott Walker is poised to receive $900 million from the Kochs, particularly to continue climate denial and implement disastrous environmental policies,” McFarland told the Guardian.
