Kelly Osbourne sparked a firestorm Tuesday when she said, “If you kick every Latino out of this country, who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?”
Despite the racist connotations of her comment, her View co-host Rosie Perez is apologized to her Wednesday and called her heart “pure and righteous” after seeing Osbourne’s Facebook post about the incident.
On Facebook Osbourne wrote, “I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions… I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f—ed up today.”
For good measure, she assured us that she cleans her “own f—ing toilets.”
In response to that, Perez tweeted:
My apologies @KellyOsbourne, I took your point wrong-#Trump #Latinos. My bad. You’re heart is so pure & righteous. I adore you. @TheView
