Yes, someone curated an art show entirely of pieces featuring actor Nicolas Cage. And it’s amazing.
On Sunday, San Francisco residents and art connoisseurs were treated to a truly unique one-night show, called Nicolas Cage is God. Naturally, the art show was wildly successful, with The Atlantic reporting that lines to get in the door stretched around the block. The show’s creator, Ezra Croft, has already scheduled another show in Los Angeles in the summer.
Cage, the actor perhaps best known for his role in National Treasure, is the butt of countless Internet jokes and memes. Appearing on The Tonight Show, Cage told host Jimmy Fallon that he wasn’t sure why people were so obsessed with him.
“Yeah, what is that?” Cage said when Fallon brought up his online popularity.
He also showed Fallon the gift he has for Croft: A sculpture of himself that fellow actor Jim Carrey had made.
