Amid troubles at home and abroad, “The Tonight Show” has broken out its “I’ve Got Good News and Good News” segment again, tapping local anchor talent from across the country to tease stories that you normally wouldn’t see leading the 6 o’clock newscast nowadays.
“Witnesses say a dog in sunglasses riding a skateboard is in town this week, and guess who he wants to hang out with? You!” one anchor says, for example.
“Great news for commuters: Traffic jams are no longer possible, especially where you live,” another anchor says.
