Sir Mix-A-Lot’s performance of ‘Baby Got Back’ prompts a dance riot … at the symphony?

The symphony meets hip-hop.

That’s exactly what happened on Friday evening when Sir Mix-a-Lot sang his famous “Baby Got Back” with the Seattle Orchestra.

“What I want to do now, is something you really should not do, but since tonight is orchestral movements from the ‘hood’ night, I’m going to leave some of this open, if a couple of ladies would like to get up on the stage,” said the famous rapper.

He got more than a couple. Dozens of women took to the stage.

Before starting the song, Sir Mix-a-Lot attempted to take a selfie with all those on stage.

“I learned this from Ellen DeGeneres,” he joked.

All this took place before Sir Mix-a-Lot let the crowd know what he what was up to.

But everyone knew once the orchestra started the tune to “Baby Got Back.” The women on stage started dancing and the rapper took it away.

It was something to behold.
