First Lady announces “Let’s Move” tour and 2016 ‘plans’

First Lady Michelle Obama announced her plans for 2016 on Friday night, but they’re not what you might think.

During an appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the show host asked the First Lady if she would consider a 2016 run for office.

“I’ve said it here first — Dream Team, Michelle and Hillary ’16,” Fallon said. “What do you think?”

“I have my eye actually on another job,” Mrs. Obama joked. “You know, I hear that when Jay Leno retires — that ‘The Tonight Show’ position is gonna be open, and I’m thinking about putting my hat in the ring.”

Fallon and Mrs. Obama talked about the reason she came onto the show, her “Let’s Move” campaign that is now entering its third year. In celebration of the campaign’s anniversary, the First Lady will embark on a two-day tour of the country, according to a White House press release from earlier this week.

The late-night host also gave the First Lady some recommendations for more healthy additions to the White House property. During the President Obama’s first term, the First Family added a playground and vegetable garden.

“Put in a big water slide, going all the way around [the White House],” Fallon said. “Shark tank. Classy.”

And as part of the plug for “Let’s Move,” Fallon — dressed in drag — and the First Lady gave a demonstration of ‘The Evolution of Mom Dancing.’
