NBA player sells English bulldog on Twitter

While Twitter is known as a place for posting snarky 140-character-long posts, Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kendrick Perkins recently used it for an unconventional reason – to sell his English bulldog.

The NBA player first tweeted out photos of his 10-month old bulldog to his 55,000 followers, and then issued a plea for someone to buy it. Apparently, Perkins needed to get rid of the lovable dog ASAP because he was concerned that it was getting too big to be around his youngest child.

It looks like Twitter was the way to go for the NBA player, because within 27 minutes of his first posting, the bulldog was sold for $1,500 dollars – half of what he originally paid for it.
