The wait is over Minneapolis, Jeffrey Alan Wagner is running for mayor and he’s a guy who really represents the people.
Wagner, one of close to three dozen candidates running for the mayor of Minnesota’s largest city, released a new campaign ad earlier this week that is sure to have voters remembering his name when they hit the polls. Called, “Wake Up Minneapolis,” Wagner makes his case for why he should assume the mayoral position, emerging from a lake to tell voters to “wake the f**k up.”
“Over a million dollars is going to be spent to become the mayor of Minneapolis,” Wagner says in a slurred voice, dripping with water. “$100,000 a year job. You’re not the ones deciding who you’re going to vote for, the media and the money is.”
Wagner continues, vowing to never take money from developers or “the political angle,” and then makes his biggest campaign promise — one that puts scorned former New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner to shame.
“And I will not even go to the strip clubs anymore. Wake the f**k up,” he says.
According to the Mediaite, Wagner, compression shorts and all, represents the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party.
