The UK chapter of #BlackLivesMatter (BLMUK) has released a new video detailing how climate change is racist against black and brown people, and the only responsible solution is to abolish national borders.
A young girl starts off by stressing that British citizens should feel immensely guilty because they are the biggest per capita contributor to climate change, but not nearly as vulnerable as people in Africa.
“According to the UNHCR by 2050, there will be 200 million climate refugees,” said a man, following up with the fact that most of the people affected live in sub-Saharan Africa.
“Climate crisis is a racist crisis,” said another black millennial.
The video diverges from the topic to complain about how poor people and minorities live near airports, factories, and power plants, and somehow that’s racist too. They don’t seem to understand that most people don’t want to live near the noise and pollution, therefore property values and rents tend to be lower, which is appealing to poor people, immigrants, and minorities without a lot of money.
No one is forcing anyone else to live near an airport. If you don’t like it, move.
Returning to the issue of climate change, another black woman complains that thousands of African migrants have died trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea into Europe.
“This year alone, more than 3,120 known migrants have died trying to reach safety on European shores fleeing conditions that they did not create,” she said.
BLMUK might actually tell more lies, fabrications, and half-truths per sentence than their American counterparts.
Their solution is simple: cut emissions, refuse any expansion of airports, and open the borders so the hundreds of millions of people can flood into the UK.
They fail to realize that more people means more pollution and by their own broken math, more climate change.
