We’re going to hope this was just a slip of the tongue and not a Freudian slip.
Congressman Jared Polis (D – Colo.) messed up the word “election” during a stump speech for Sen. Mark Udall (D – Colo.) Thursday in the most hilarious way.
“More than just electing Mark Udall–a fine man that I’ve known for much of my life–to the United States Senate,” Polis said. “More than that, control of the United States Senate is what’s at stake here in this Colorado erection–Colorado election.”
We know elections should be about more than these “gotcha!” moments, but really sometimes they are too good not to share.
