James Corden’s band creates theme songs for lesser-known holidays

On The Late Late Show with James Corden, the host announced his love for holiday music.

But with major holidays like Christmas still months away, Corden had his band sing lesser-known holiday theme songs picked at random from his wheel of holidays. The holidays chosen were “Hug Your Cat Day,” “Chimborazo Day,” and “National Cognac Day.”

Bandleader Reggie Watts improvised all the music and lyrics, playing a different genre to each song including Spanish music, holiday pop, and even jazz.
