Well, Nancy Pelosi has finally admitted that she’s crazy. Or at least crazy about March Madness.
“I’m crazy, I’m March Mad!” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said during a press conference on Thursday.
Never were truer words spoken by the House Minority Leader.
“I’m addicted to basketball – I mean all sports – but college basketball – very exciting,” Pelosi explained.
Pelosi said she was psyched about the NCAA tournament, but don’t expect her to compete with President Obama on bracketology.
“I don’t want anybody to lose, I’m rooting for everybody, especially the players,” she said, explaining she has “a lot of allegiances to many of those schools.”
No word on what these “allegiances” are.
Pelosi will be deep disappointed when she discovers everyone loses except for one team. They typically call that team “the winner” or “National Champion,” in fancy sports jargon. But a self-proclaimed sports addict like Pelosi probably should know that.
Pelosi claimed she is “March Mad,” but someone might want to brief her on how March Madness works.
