The latest Wall Street Journal/NBC poll provided statistical evidence of what we already knew — President Obama is pretty much unable to lead this country and get the job done.
NBC News reporter Chuck Todd was a guest on “Morning Joe” Wednesday to provide his analysis of the new poll’s findings. Some of the highlights include approval of Obama’s handling of foreign policy at an all-time low of 37 percent, and 41 percent saying that the Obama administration has gotten worse over the past year.
But the real kicker came with the question, “Thinking about the rest of Barack Obama’s term as president, do you think he can lead the country and get the job done or do you no longer feel that he is able to lead the country and get the job done?”
54 percent of respondents answered with a “no.”
“[O]n the issue of ‘Do you believe he can still lead,’ and a majority believe no — I mean, essentially the public is saying your presidency is over,” Todd said.
