During Wednesday night’s GOP debate, Carly Fiorina made the case that despite Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton’s claims to being a “pro-women” candidate, her policies are “‘demonstrably bad for women.”
Fiorina pointed out that during the first term of the Obama Administration, which Clinton was a part of, women suffered terribly.
“Becky it is the height of hypocrisy for Mrs. Clinton to talk about being the first woman president when every single policy she espouses and every single policy of President Obama is demonstrably bad for women,” Fiorina continued. “92 percent of the jobs lost during President Obama’s first term belonged to women.”
She continued that 3 million more women have fallen into poverty during the Obama administration’s time in office.
“I am a conservative because I know our values, our principles, and our policies are better at lifting everyone up, men and women,” the former HP CEO said.
